So Cute!

Look how cute my nieces are! The three girls in the middle are mine, the rest are their cousins. I went to WA for my littlest niece's baby blessing and had the best weekend! We just played with the kids and met all of my sister-in-law's side of the family-well, we've met them before, but it's always been around huge events, like my brother's wedding, so it was nice to be able to relax and get to know them a little better.
Oh ya, and also--I could totally live on a farm...when I have a family.

You have farm family! I've always wanted to live on a farm.

Well, I like the idea of living on a farm sans the actual manual labor.

I suppose I could gather eggs and feed the chickens, but anything more than that, I'm not so sure.

Hahaha, ya, My husband would have to be the farmer. I'd just maintain the house. ...Although, I've always wanted to milk cows... Mostly I really just want to have a lot of land for my kids to play on. I love the relaxed attitudes of country folk too. It's almost as good as beach people. My first choice is definately to live on the beach--especially if I'm single. I could only be a farm wife, not a farm girl.

When John and I bought this house, I was so excited because it is out in the country and I actually drive by many red barns on my way anywhere. John called me one day after talking to the realtor and sadly informed me that even though we were in the country, we were in a subdivision and therefore couldn't have chickens and little sheep. Sad day. :( Fun, that he knew to ask, huh?

Cute kids!

I've always liked the idea of a Gentleman Farmer (well, Gentlewoman), you know, a few acres with a cow, a sheep, a few chickens, and a farmhand to take care of all of them. Maybe some billy goats because they're so cute.
