Late for work...but worth every second.

I know that being late is bad, and I know that I should be punctual and present myself as a professional (even though I was still the first person here today). It's just that I couldn't get myself out of bed this morning. Yes, I was up really late last night, but that's not my fault. I have class till 10. But that wasn't really the issue here. This morning as I was desperately trying to find the off button on my alarm clock, there were 2 gorgeous men wanting me. "In my dreams!" you say? Why, yes. Yes, they were in my dreams. Well, one dream in particular. The one my alarm was interrupting. The one I was desperate to get back to. And luckily, I did get back to it. That's right, I went back to sleep and dreamed a marvelous dream that could only ever be a dream, and slept right up until 10 minutes before I was supposed to be at work. Oops! But, oh well. I don't get to do that very often. I don't usually remember my dreams. So today, I took advantage of it.
And I'm so not sorry.

PS--
Dear Dream Men,
Thank you for loving me. Thank you for making my night wonderful, and starting my day with a smile. Do you visit me every night? If you do, I'm sorry I don't always remember. I'll try to do better. I'm sure that if the dream ended with a good bye kiss, I'd be more likely to remember it-just a little tip. I miss you already.
Love,
Heather

We are SO sisters!! I usually wind up dreaming about weird things, but your dream sounds nice!

I do tend to make up dreams like this in the middle of my work day while I'm fully awake. Is that better or worse than being late for work?

Hahaha--day dreams are even better, because you remember them!!! And when you're happy, you work better, so your boss should be glad you daydream. :-)

How are you doing Heather? I have to tell you we are going to Disneyland! Jan. 7-11. I got a hotel/park package that was a good deal for that week. So come and see us there. Write me back and we'll figure out details, but thought I'd let you know. I love your blog by the way...
